Axsys announced a new electronics digital controller for its line of fast steering mirrors. The new compact electronics package is driven using an SPI connection to a PC or other controller. With a 12bit DAC, the driver achieves resolution down to 1 micro-radian for smooth operation and precision control virtually eliminating jitter. Two meter cabling is standard. (read more)
