In-line fixed attenuators are manufactured utilizing doped fiber to ensure optimum performance, better back reflection, and low wavelength dependence loss. Variable in-line attenuators offer several options. In FC or SC connectors the control can be positioned in the connector or the attenuation control can be placed elsewhere within the cordage.
